The smooth surface is a plastic layer that has catadioptric glass beads embedded and has a high scratch resistance.

Engineering Grade
Oralite 5600RA is a fleet engineering grade reflective vinyl with a cast PVC finish embedded with catadioptric glass beads and is around double the reflectivity of the 5200 series.
Meets the performance requirement of RA1 - ECE104 Class D compliant and features Orafol's RapidAir air release liner for easy, bubble free application.
Good adaptability to corrugations or rivets. 7 year exterior life.
Oralite VC170
The ideal multi-purpose reflective material that can be applied to smooth or unpainted metal surfaces. Suitable for a variety of outdoor or indoor situations where reflectivity is required e.g. bollards, lamp posts, gates and fire hydrants.
Oralite VC412RA
Oralite VC412RA is a high grade microprismatic reflective vinyl. It is around ten times the reflectivity of the 5200 series and meets R3B Chapter 8 compliance so is appropriate for use on highway vehicles.
